| Created by the merger of two existing synchro teams in 1992, Rocky
Mountain Splash is currently the highest ranked, nationally competitive synchronized
swim team in Colorado. Based in Denver, Splash consists of 27 swimmers, ranging
in age from 7 to 17, and 5 coaches. We offer lessons and competitive programs
for all levels of swimmers: |
| |
| |
Novice: |
All competitors swim to a pre-determined routine, and
participate in non-qualifying meets only. |
| |
Intermediate: |
Swimmers perform technical routines with required elements. |
| |
Age Group: |
Competition includes technical and free routines, depending on the
age of the swimmers. The top three places in each event can qualify
to continue to the next level, culminating in the National Age Group
Championships for ages 11 and up. |
| |
Senior: |
Swimmers must be at least age 15. Eligibility requirements vary depending
on the meet, but often involve obtaining a required minimum score
for each event. |

What We Do
Synchronized Swimming is fun for children of any age. As a sport it has
tremendous benefits for your child. In addition to keeping fit, the sport
is also a terrific way to learn teamwork. The goal of Rocky Mountain Splash
is to promote the health and growth of our swimmers through participation
in team oriented training and competition. The swimmers are encouraged
to attain their highest level of achievement based on individual and team
potential. Each team member is expected to learn and practice swim techniques,
teamwork, responsibility, and sportsmanship in an environment of dedicated
effort and fun.
